     The L.C. Smith Journal is the only publication that focuses on all things L.C. Smith – the guns themselves, of course, but also their history and the history of their manufacturers, and on maintenance and restoration of these fine shotguns. You'll also find articles on collecting Smiths, hunting with a Smith, and reloading shells to use in a Smith.

     The Journal has content for those new to L.C. Smiths as well as longtime owners. You'll learn about unusual "Elsies" and read interesting tales about our favorite shotgun. And there's news of the L.C. Smith Collectors Association – the shoots, exhibits and other events we sponsor – and our work to preserve the history of this great American double gun.

The L.C. Smith Journal is published quarterly. You'll receive your copies the first part of March, June, September and December. Your journal is shipped in protective packaging because you'll want to keep it and refer to it.


We encourage all LCSCA members to submit articles. You don't have to be a great writer; we'll help you get your article ready for publication. For more information about submitting an article, click here.
